I like to begin my vacation on a Saturday morning and end my vacation on a Saturday night so when I choose my departing flight, I like to choose flights that depart in the morning and when I choose my returning flight, I like to choose flights that arrive at night.

I would like to travel to Japan. But, I would like to do it while visiting my family in China. First, I'm thinking about flying from SFO to Tokyo one way. Then, I'm thinking about flying from Tokyo to Wuhan one way. Finally, I'm thinking about flying from HKG to SFO one way just like how I flew from SFO to Taipei one way and then Taipei to Wuhan one way and then HKG to SFO one way. I would do the same for South Korea. First, I'm thinking about flying from SFO to Seoul one way. Then, I'm thinking about flying from Seoul to Wuhan one way. Finally, I'm thinking about flying from HKG to SFO one way.

I've heard that India especially New Delhi and Bangladesh especially Dhaka have like very unhealthy air quality (almost hazardous air quality) in the winter.

For countries that are located on the western side of China (e.g. India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, Bhutan) I would like to travel to these countries while I'm visiting my family in China by flying from HKG airport to destination and then from destination back to HKG.

I would like to travel to India sometime in the future. But, I would like to do it while visiting my family in China. I'm thinking of flying from HKG to New Delhi, India and then back from New Delhi, India to HKG just like how I flew from HKG to Nairobi, Kenya and then back from Nairobi, Kenya to HKG in 2017. The only thing I'm worried about is the unhealthy air quality especially in New Delhi.

Some countries in Asia that are on my bucket lists include India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Laos, Japan, South Korea.

I went to China and Taiwan this summer. First, I flew from SFO to Taipei one way. Then, I flew from Taipei to Wuhan one way. Finally, I flew from HKG to SFO one way.

Not bad. It's nice you got a meal on an hour long flight. I haven't been back to Asia since 2019. Even though I haven't flown Cathay, it brings back good memories like when I flew Asiana. Thanks!

It's really unfortunate United has incorporated the same lackluster catering into their transpacific flight. The food looks really Ugh ! With the two daily flights departing Taipei only a few hours apart, I really wish United would move one of the flights to the evening. Some travelers like myself would prefer an evening departure to have almost an extra day in Taiwan. Hope United Execs are listening !

At 1:40, anybody who's wondering what the kid's wearing, it reads: "My grandpa loves me very much" in Chinese. Awww......so cute !

I had my worst flight experience last year from HK to SF on United.

For long haul flights over 7 hrs, “I ain’t staying if I ain’t layin” (flat)

When I go international, I need that Polaris club at the airport and Bed to sleep in! That’s the way I flew SFO to Hong Kong

Was on this exact plane in January 2023, I was the first one on board (because I was an UMNR) and I was placed at the back of the plane. I got moved to first class because there was alot of empty space and I slept about 15 out of 18 hours it flew.

Great trip report. I’m from Australia, mainly living in Melbourne and have been to Gold Coast twice a couple years ago. Generally, I love travelling, especially when taking airplanes around different states in Australia or overseas. All in all, this is a great video. SimplyAviation is one other great UA-cam channel that can be considered too, as they exhibit trip report videos showcasing the service of certain airlines, what to expect, etc.

I’ve been happy with my recent flights on United’s Premium Plus - EWR-MXP, EWR-BRU. I’m tall, so I need the extra legroom, and the service is good. Most importantly, the purple seats and amenity kit matched my sweater 🤣

Ancient plane, so noisy. Bread in plastic is hardly premium.

Premium plus looks decent for a long flight like that. Dinner and breakfast look pretty good. I won't be so fortunate to experience that on my flight to Paris from SFO. I'll be at the back of the plane. Nice video.😮

United is...ok I guess, it gets the job done. But I wish there were more US carriers flying to Hong Kong to give an alternative option, like when American or Delta also flew to Hong Kong. Great footage of a beautiful sunrise btw, good job.
